One of my fondest memories was one that was duplicated on many afternoons. Going to her house and sipping tea, eating home baked cookies and playing scrabble was some some of my best times with her. My grandma wasn't a great speller but she knew how to use those doubles and triples to win the game. My grandma listened and she shared. She opened her heart and her home to me. She was the most generous person I knew and would give her last dollar to help someone else. There was always enough food and you never felt like you were a guest in her home. My grandma was caring, she was supportive and she was loving. I have never in my life met anyone that didn't like her. Even the ones that acted like they didn't would never admit it because she was just too kind hearted.
Once again, I will be left with only memories of her this mothers day. I'm just so damn thankful that they were good memories. I love you grandma!!!
