An intelligent, God fearing man Trevor the youngest of 3, shares a father with me and our brother Zeb. Moving with his family to Long Island from the Bronx when he was a kid, he resides in Coram, NY on Long Island. Always willing to give a hand and support his friends and family Trevor has worked hard to maintain a life that is void of the stereotypes that plague many of the young men his age. Currently employed at Madison Square Garden Trevor splits his time between church, family events and work.
One of the memories that stands out for me is when he and I took a trip to Puerto Rico. Neither of us are exceptionally fluent in Spanish but Trevor went out of his way to communicate with the locals and throw out a few words here and there to help guide us on our journey. My brother has always been the type to try and take charge and on that trip it was no exception. I don’t tell him enough but I hope that this post is a constant and permanent reminder of how much he not only means to me but of how proud I am that he always stands in his convictions.
Today as I honor the youngest member of my Black History Month tributes I send a prayer up for my baby bro Trevor Isaac Blair and ask that God continues to bless and keep him!
