I hope to one day be a wife and a mother, even as I know that the years continue to pack on and I'm closer to middle aged than I am to teenage. I know that whatever path God has lined out for me, is greater than any path I could choose for myself. I'm a work in progress and I hope that the progress that I've made and the progress I'm yet to make will be met with appreciation, love and hugs. I know, I know I'm doing a lot of rambling haha....but I guess the ultimate goal in today's post was for those reading to take a step back, appreciate the life you have, tell someone anyone (even your pet), you love them, hug someone (even yourself) and remember that if there's anyone who cares, anyone who thinks you matter, anyone who believes you can be great, anyone who loves you, it's me. Have a Satisfying Sunday :-)
Have you said I Love You to someone yet today? When's the last time you hugged someone? When's the last time you've been hugged? Although life expectancy is getting longer and longer, in the grand scheme of things, life is short. I would hate to leave this earth knowing that those most important in my life didn't know how much I loved them. I would hate to die knowing that my friends and even many of my co workers didn't truly know how important they were to me. I don't always tell my family that I love them each time I see them, but I hope that through my actions they know it. I don't always spend time with my friends, and often social media is the most contact i've had with some of them in years, but I believe in my heart that they know that they are meaningful to me. I rarely tell my coworkers how much they are valued, and unfortunately my insecurity probably will not allow me to vocalize it to their face, but I hope that my actions speak volumes.
