Until, next time enjoy today and remember our fallen hero's!! Today I choose to remember fondly my grandfather Haywood Blair a US Veteran who passed away January 20th, 2012. May God Bless all of us, but specifically our soldiers fighting for our freedom and the freedom of others in country's near and far. Love You All!!
After much reflection, I realized i'm no activist..lol. Many people say that you should play to your strengths. Although I did a great job fundraising for my hearing aids, the fact of the matter is that my words hold power. My strength is found in my words and I was able to use my strength to yield power in a way that gained exceptional support. With that being said, I've decided to turn my blog into a more introspective insight into who I am. I also want to use this space to share excerpts from the memoir I have been writing. Any feedback you give positive or negative would be greatly appreciated. Although, I have somewhat abandoned my activism stance, I ask that you still continue to support those of us that do not have hearing aid coverage through insurance companies. There are a plethora of petitions on change.org including mine!! COVERAGENOW
